Cocktail attire. Think a suit and tie or well-tailored blazer and dress pants for men, while jumpsuits, pantsuits and mini, knee-length and midi cocktail dresses are great options for women.
Please keep in mind our wedding takes place in the evening and at 6,000 feet above elevation. So, when the sun sets, it will be fairly cool. While dinner and dancing take place inside, you will have access to the beautiful outdoor spaces so a little warm layer might be a good idea!
Are children allowed at the wedding?
For the most part, no. A small number of family members whose invitation reads "and family," may bring their children. Otherwise, we hope mom and dad are able to join us to celebrate!
When should I arrive and depart? What is the timeline of events?
We are hosting two events: welcome drinks on Saturday Sept. 6 at around 7 or 8 PM (details forthcoming), and the wedding Sunday Sept. 7 at 5 PM. There is nothing planned for Monday. So arriving Saturday and departing Monday will let you attend both events.
We will host a welcome drinks reception Saturday Sept 6 around 7 or 8 PM nearby your hotel. We haven't fully fleshed out the location and details, but it will definitely happen Saturday evening nearby the hotels (downtown), and we will have some drinks and light hors d'oeuvres. We will share precise welcome drink details later in June.
What airport should I fly into?
Salt Lake City! The two hotels we have blocked off are about 15 minutes from the hotel, and about a $15 Uber/Lyft ride away.
